Class Policies

Register early. Classes with fewer than 3 registrations (outside instructor) or fewer than 2 registrations (shop instructor), 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.

Fees and Discounts

Class fees do not include supplies unless indicated. The Fiber Lab offers a 10% discount on class supplies. The discount excludes sale items, and registrations for future classes and events. 

Supplies

We encourage you to visit the shop a few days before your first class to purchase supplies. At the very least, plan on arriving early before your first class session in order to purchase supplies, especially if you need to have yarn wound or fabric cut.

Participation

Minimum age to participate in classes at the Fiber Lab is 16 unless otherwise specified. For classes where those younger than 16 are allowed to register, they must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellations

If the Fiber Lab needs to cancel a class for any reason (including weather) we will notify those who have registered via phone or email. We will offer a refund if we're unable to reschedule the class. If the student is unable to make the new scheduled time(s), the student cancellation policies apply.

Student cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the first class session to receive a refund. No refunds or makeup sessions are available for missed sessions of multi-session classes.
