Cresting Waves Crocheted Shawl
Looking to expand your crochet skills and have a desire to create a beautiful garment, then this is the class for you! The Cresting Waves shawl is a two (or more) colored shawl inspired by waves gently crashing against sandy beaches.
This class meets for three 2 hour sessions
Skills you will learn in this class:
- Half double crochet
- Double crochet
- Treble crochet
- Increases and decreases
Supplies Needed:
- Cresting Waves Shawl pattern by Detroit Knots. Pattern available on Ravelry.com
- Sport or DK weight yarn in 2 colors. This would also be fun using multiple mini skeins as the accent.
- Color A: 556 yards
- Color B: 280 yards
- Size G/4.25mm crochet hook (or size to obtain gauge)
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
Register early. Classes with fewer than 3 registrations, 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.
