Killer Queen Cowl
This is a great introduction to using two colors in your knitting. The pattern uses slip stitches to create a dramatic effect, and the best part is that you're only working with one color at a time!
The class consists of three 2 hour sessions.
Skill Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate

- Using two colors of yarn
- Variety of patterns using slipped stitches
Supplies Needed:
- Killer Queen Cowl pattern by Mary Annarella. Pattern is available for $7.99 on Ravelry.com
- 2 skeins (approximately 305 yards) of worsted weight for main color
- 1 skein (approximately 180 yards) of worsted weight for contrast color. A variegated yarn is particularly striking.
- US 6/4mm needles (or size to obtain gauge)
- Tapestry needle
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
Register early. Classes with fewer than 2 registrations, 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.
