Divided Double Zip Pouch
The Divided Double Zip Pouch is the perfect size to hold all sorts of small items, such as notions, makeup and more. This bag has an outside zippered pocket and keeps all of your goodies safely inside with a top zipper.
With a couple of modifications, this little pouch becomes an excellent cross-body style bag! We'll walk you through this, too, if it's something you want to try.
This class consists of three 2-hour sessions
Materials Needed:
- Divided Double Zip Pouch pattern
- 1 mini charm pack or selection of fabrics to create front of bag
- 1 fat quarter for bag exterior
- 3/8 yard fabric for lining
- 5/8 yard lightweight interfacing, such as Pellon SF101
- 2 (14") zippers OR 1 (14") zipper and 2 (7" zippers)
- (Optional) 2 (1") D-Rings
- (Optional) 2 (1") Swivel Hooks
Additional Supplies:
- Erasable marking pen
- Ruler
- Cutting Mat
- Rotary Cutter
- Matching Thread
- Scissors
- Pins or sewing clips
Note: You must bring your own sewing machine.
Stop in early to choose your fabrics and get and any other supplies you may need. The Fiber Lab offers a 10% discount on class supplies.
Register early. Classes with fewer than 3 registrations, 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.
