Reverse Applique Sweatshirt

Reverse appliqué is a popular fashion trend right now and is surprisingly easy to do.
What to Bring:
- A plain sweatshirt (hoodie or crewneck). It can be new or used, but I would recommend using something that you're okay cutting into.
- An idea of what you would like create
- Simple shapes (hearts, stars, etc.), silhouettes of objects, and bold letters and numbers are best. This is not a small details kind of project. See below for a few ideas.

Additional Supplies:
- Lightweight stabilizer such as Pellon SF-101
- Small piece (or multiple pieces) of fabric that are big enough to fill your design
- Fabric marking pen
- Ruler
- Rotary Cutter
- Thread (matching or contrasting, it's up to you
- Scissors, including a pointy embroidery-style scissors
- Sewing pins
Note: You must bring your own sewing machine.
