Ravelry 101
If you knit or crochet you are probably familiar with Ravelry, but you may be overwhelmed by all of the options. Do you struggle finding the perfect pattern to go with your favorite yarn? Do you get lost trying to navigate through all the tabs and projects? This class will start you on the path to becoming a Ravelry Master.
In this class you will learn how to search for patterns, yarns, and designers. We will then dive deeper and you will learn how to use various filters to find that perfect pattern for that perfect yarn, and more.
In this class you will learn how to:
- Use advanced filters to find the perfect pattern
- Research patterns using images, project notes, and yarn ideas
- Organize your favorites, including how to use bundles
Supplies Needed:
- A laptop, iPad/tablet, or phone. A laptop or tablet will be easiest because of the larger screen size.
- A Ravelry account. Be sure you're logged in prior to the start of class.
- Fiber Lab has free guest wi-fi
Register early. Classes with fewer than 2 registrations, 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.
