Embroidery Sampler — Bird with Bouquet

Bird with Bouquet is a perfect first project for a new stitcher. In this class we will cover embroidery basics and learn six basic stitches (running stitch, back stitch, lazy daisy, satin stitch, straight stitch and French knots). The design leaves open the possibility to add more details and stitches if time allows or at home on your own.

Class registration includes the Bird with Bouquet kit. The kit includes the pattern, printed cotton/linen fabric, embroidery floss, and 8" hoop. All you need to provide is needles, a scissors, and the enthusiasm to learn something new.

Supplies Needed:

• Small sharp scissors
• Embroidery needles, sizes 3 - 9 (available at the shop)
• Reading glasses (if needed)
• Small task lighting (if desired)

Stop in early to pick up the supplies you need. The Fiber Lab offers a 15% discount on class supplies.

Register early. Classes with fewer than 2 registrations, 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.
