Embroidered Nordic Sweater Ornaments

Embroider a cozy Nordic Sweater ornament to decorate your holiday tree. In this class we will cover using a freezer paper technique and learn five embroidery stitches (buttonhole stitch, chain stitch, star stitch, running stitch and fly stitch) to embellish the felt sweater. A small hanger will complete the ornament.

These make excellent Christmas and holiday gifts.

Class registration includes the Nordic Sweater kit. The kit includes pattern, felt, embroidery floss, freezer paper, and hanger wire. All you need to provide is needles, a scissors, and the enthusiasm to learn something new.

Supplies Needed:

• Small sharp scissors
• Embroidery needles, sizes 3 - 9 (available at the shop)
• Reading glasses (if needed)
• Small task lighting (if desired)
• [Optional] Needle nose pliers and wire cutters. If you don't have these, do not go out and buy them

Stop in early to pick up the supplies you need. The Fiber Lab offers a 15% discount on class supplies.

Register early. Classes with fewer than 2 registrations, 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.
