Holland Pouch

Part of the Make It Homemade Holiday Workshop Series

The Holland Pouch is a go-to quilted pouch that you'll want to make over and over — and they make excellent gifts. It's designed to be simple, and something that a even beginner can feel confident making. Choose which size you want to make and let our instructor guide you through the process.

This is a workshop style class. We will meet twice for 5 hours. Feel free to bring a bagged lunch. Light snacks will be provided.

Materials Needed:

• Holland Pouch pattern
• Regardless of size, you will need the following:
  • 1 fat quarter main fabric
  • 1 fat quarter lining
  • 1 fat quarter accent
• 1/2 yard Soft & Stable
• 1/3 yard Pellon SF-101 Interfacing
• Interfacing such as Decorbond 809, Decovil Light, or fusible fleece
• 16" - 20" zipper (depends on size of pouch)

Additional Supplies:

• Ruler
• Cutting Mat
• Rotary Cutter
• Matching Thread
• Scissors
• Pins or sewing clips

Note: You must bring your own sewing machine.

Stop in early to choose your fabrics and get and any other supplies you may need. The Fiber Lab offers a 15% discount on class supplies.

Register early. Classes with fewer than 3 registrations, 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.
