Kisses from Heaven Tree Skirt
Happy raw-edge appliqué snowmen decorate the edges of this festive tree skirt. The instructor will guide you through cutting, sewing, and assembling this tree skirt so you can finish in time for the holidays.
Choose to create a tree skirt or round wall hanging.
Kits will be available for purchase closer to the start of class.
Finished Size: 42" diameter
Materials Needed:
- Kisses from Heaven pattern by JoAnn Hoffman Designs
- 2 yds blue or other dark fabric for background and binding
- 2 yds white fabric for snowmen
- 1/2 yd for snowflakes
- [8] 1/4 yd fabrics for scarves
- 1/4 yd black or dark gray for smiles
- 1/2 yd orange for carrot noses
- 4 yds fusible web such as Steam-a-Seam 2 Lite
- Approximately 48" x 48" piece of batting
- 2-2/3 yds backing fabric
- 8 buttons for eyes
Additional Supplies:
- Marking pen or pencil
- Scissors
- Pins or sewing clips
- Rotary cutter
- Quilting ruler
- Cutting mat
- (Optional) Walking foot
Note: You must bring your own sewing machine.
Stop in early to choose your fabrics and get and any other supplies you may need. The Fiber Lab offers a 15% discount on class supplies.
Register early. Classes with fewer than 3 registrations, 72 hours (3 days) prior to the start of class will be canceled. Students will be notified if a class is cancelled, and the registration fee will be refunded.
