Mitchell Wool Co. is a family farm located in Dryden, Michigan. One of their primary goals is to strengthen the American wool industry. They are doing this by sourcing their fibers from farmers who adhere to ethical sheep-raising practices. American Fibers yarns, including the limited edition Gather yarns, are sourced, milled, and dyed here in the United States. The fleeces are purchased from American farmers and the yarn is then processed and milled in the United States. In addition, Mitchell Wool Co's yarns are dyed right on the family farm using a variety of natural and sustainably sourced dyes.
